I canned 13 cans of tuna, and only one didn't seal, so I made tuna fish sandwiches out of it. I feel so grown up. It was kind of fun. I want to try canning peaches next.
I was so productive on the weekend. Other than the canning, I drained, sanitized, and refilled my hot tub, organized the garage a bit and took a bunch of things to Good Will, cleaned the kitchen and fish tank, did laundry, and was a reader at church. Not sure I got much rest, but I felt satisfied.
My toe is much better. Hopefully Marcus can stay away from my feet going forward! :)

I was carrying Brendan constantly, and he was crying all day. The air conditioner was broken, and it was baking hot inside.
It was the first time I had canned anything. And the last. And they complained about the consistency of the peaches in the jars. In front of me. I was, of course, holding sweaty, crying Brendan at the time.
I think canning peaches with you would be much more fun. Let me know if you decide to! Maybe I can make the drive.
